Blockdaemon is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our Wallet Engineering team. You will design and execute test plans, collaborate with developers and management, and contribute to high-quality software for blockchain products.

The role emphasizes automated testing, load testing, and the use of TestRail, with opportunities to own testing areas and drive quality across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in creating, maintaining and executing system and API test automation.
• Experience with defect-tracking tools and clear issue reporting.
• Strong background in creating and executing functional, regression, and integration testing across the SDLC.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and continuous improvement processes.
• Ability to collaborate across test, development and support teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute comprehensive test plans and environments.
• Own test areas and identify tests to automate.
• Perform acceptance, functional, negative, and regression tests.
• Document defects clearly in the defect tracking system.
• Assist development engineers by diagnosing defects and providing insights.
• Use TestRail to create, manage, and track testing and ensure coverage.
• Provide daily updates on testing status to the engineering team.
• Integrate automation and QA tools to enhance testing processes.
• Create automated tests and document processes for knowledge sharing.
• Create Load and Stress testing plans and execute them regularly.
