Job summary

Red Global is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to support an international client in designing robust automated tests for APIs, integrations, and event-driven systems.

You will own the automation strategy, enhance the JAVA framework, and collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners across multiple platforms while ensuring CI/CD pipelines remain reliable and scalable. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• Long-term project experience as Senior QA Engineer.
• JAVA framework focus, JAVA development.
• Strong experience in API and integration testing.
• Project experience in API automation using RestAssured.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber/BDD.
• Strong experience with JSON/XML.
• Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle.
• Agile/Scrum experience with focus in DevOps & CI/CD pipelines.
• Preferred: Experience testing distributed or event-driven systems.
• Highly beneficial: Kafka/Confluent/Kong/Databricks experience.
• Project experience with Jmeter- preferred but not a must.
• Project experience in large international organisations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain automated tests across APIs & integrations
• Maintenance and enhancement of client's automated JAVA framework, reusable testing utilities and engineering standards
• Support client in driving their quality assurance strategy across multiple platforms, frameworks and teams
• Drive QA excellence
• Script APIs
• Functional testing of APIs, Validate API contracts, message transformations, payload mappings
• Act as owner for testing framework and drive/deliver enterprise-wide quality improvements
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners
• Support CI/CD pipelines by ensuring automated tests are reliable, maintainable and suitable for continuous delivery
• Identify quality risks
• Investigate defects
