Qualifications

• Mid-to-senior QA experience in digital media workflow engineering and cloud-native QA.
• Airtable: validate field types, formulas, automations, and status transitions.
• API authentication nuances: server-to-server auth and rate-limiting.
• Photoshop APIs: artboards, layers, masks, text; validate PSD/JPG/PNG outputs.
• AWS orchestration: SQS, DynamoDB locking, Step Functions, Lambda, S3.
• Workflow reliability: asynchronous systems, webhooks, idempotency, throttling.
• Jira Cloud: reproduce defects with assets/logs; link to Epics/Stories/Bugs.
• Vision: bounding-box, focal-point, and native-cropping considerations.

Responsibilities

• Validate asynchronous, event-driven pipelines from intake through AWS and Photoshop APIs to Frame.io.
• Verify idempotency, de-duplication, race conditions, and queue throttling; include duplicate Frame.io webhooks.
• Test recovery from network interruptions, tokens, corrupt media, missing manifest keys, and API limits; verify circuit breakers.
• Design deterministic cache lifecycle tests distinguishing reusable asset caches from template manifests; ensure invalidation on changes.
• Reconcile assets, folders, and version stacks; test URL-encoded filenames, same-name folders, version collisions; protect active uploads.
• Validate AI cropping and graphical transformations across landscape and portrait inputs; verify cropping and masks.
• Inspect typography, font substitutions, leading, wrapping, CTA bounds, disclaimer visibility, and ratings placement across aspect ratios.
• Document reproducible defects in Jira Cloud with assets and logs; align results with Epics/Stories/Bugs.
