Job summary

Hudl is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our North American Sports product team. You’ll own quality end-to-end, build strategies and automation with Playwright, and ensure our software ships with reliability.

You will test across the stack, mentor teammates, and partner with Engineering, Product and Design while advancing quality practices and AI-assisted testing in a fast-paced sports analytics environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software testing experience across full stack.
• Proficiency with Playwright and Python or TypeScript.
• Leadership experience owning testing initiatives in a squad.
• Investigative rigour with data-backed findings.
• User-focused testing approaches.
• AI-powered testing usage and exploration.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives across the squad and drive risk-based testing strategies.
• Test across UI, APIs, backend services, and data pipelines.
• Automate tests with Playwright and scripting for reliability.
• Mentor teammates and raise quality standards across the team.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Design to improve delivery quality.
