Job summary

IntelliBee in Olympia, WA seeks a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in functional, automation, and API testing to ensure software quality. You will craft test plans, design automated tests, and verify API endpoints to maintain reliability across products.

The role emphasizes collaborating with developers, product managers, and operations to continuously improve testing processes and product quality. A BS in CS/Engineering is preferred, with hands-on testing across RESTful services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/Engineering or related field.
Experience with manual and automated testing across SDLC.
Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication.

Responsibilities

Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional testing.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts; integrate tests into CI/CD pipeline.
Create and execute API test plans to validate API functionality, performance, and security.
Participate in code reviews and ensure QA standards.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
