Job summary

Decima Digital Inc is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to own testing across client projects in our ecommerce-focused environment. You will work with developers and project managers to ensure releases are stable and requirements are fully covered.

The role combines manual and automated testing, with emphasis on Magento/Adobe Commerce, test plans, and data validation. Familiarity with SQL, Git, Jira, and CI/CD is advantageous, as is a proactive approach to AI-assisted testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience (manual and automation).
• Experience testing e-commerce platforms - Magento / Adobe Commerce.
• Good understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and defect management processes.
• Experience with SQL and data validation.
• Working knowledge of Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and identify missing cases, risks, and inconsistencies.
• Create and maintain Test Plans, Test Cases, and Checklists.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Test custom features and third-party integrations.
• Contribute to test automation coverage for UI and API testing.
• Document and track defects with clear reproduction steps and expected results.
• Participate in release validation and risk assessment.
• Perform performance and load testing when required.
• Prepare test reports and communicate quality status to the team.
• Be open to adopting and leveraging AI-assisted tools and practices
