Job summary

Epsilon is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead automated testing initiatives and elevate QA practices across the software development lifecycle. You will drive quality initiatives, design and implement automated test strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence.

The role emphasizes hands-on test automation with Cypress/Taiko, API testing via Swagger/Postman, and validation across multiple platforms and browsers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of combined QA and development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in test automation and scripting.
  • In-depth understanding of QA activities across all phases of the SDLC.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress or Taiko.
  • Experience with API testing using Swagger/Postman.
  • Familiarity with Angular front-end technologies.
  • Experience testing across multiple platforms, browsers, and mobile devices using AWS testing tools.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation abilities.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead the planning and execution of automated testing initiatives while driving continuous improvement of our quality assurance practices. In this role, you will play a key part in safeguarding product quality, and championing best-in-class QA standards across the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and QA methodologies, and actively share knowledge with the broader team
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of combined QA and development experience
  • Strong proficiency in test automation and scripting.
  • In-depth understanding of QA activities across all phases of the SDLC
  • Hands-on experience with either of Selenium, Cypress or Taiko
  • Experience with API testing using Swagger/Postman
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular
  • Experience testing across multiple platforms, browsers, and mobile devices using AWS testing tools
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies

Preferred Qualities:

  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly
  • Strong time management skills and ability to take full ownership of tasks and features
  • Relevant QA certifications are a plus

Compensation Range: USD $88,900.00 - USD $165,100.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
