TherapyNotes is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing across API and UI layers for their leading SaaS behavioral health platform. You will contribute to load and performance testing to ensure scalability and reliability, while mentoring teammates and promoting automation best practices in a distributed engineering organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in an Agile, collaborative environment.
• 5+ years developing API and UI test automation.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright).
• Experience with load/performance testing (JMeter, k6, Gatling).
• Strong OOP and design pattern knowledge.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of web and browser technologies.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites for API and UI layers.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to load, stress, and endurance testing to validate performance.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and work with engineering to remediate.
• Analyze failures, perform root cause analysis, and report defects.
• Perform manual testing where automation is not suitable.
• Promote consistent testing practices across distributed teams.
• Suggest improvements to automation and testing processes.
• Mentor team members on automation design patterns and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership in building maintainable, scalable test frameworks.
