Job summary

Software Mind is seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst – Web, Reporting, & Data Warehouse to ensure data integrity and quality across web applications, reports, and ETL pipelines. You will collaborate with software developers, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to validate data, tests, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years ofQA experience, ideally spanning web, reporting, and data environments.
• Strong SQL skills for validating and analyzing data.
• Hands-on experience testing ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Working knowledge of testing tools such as Postman or similar.
• Experience validating reports using BI tools like Power BI.
• Experience working in Agile/Kanban environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain master test plans.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align on testing priorities and efforts.
• Oversee functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across data pipelines, reporting systems, and web applications.
• Identify, log, and track defects and data inconsistencies; work with developers to resolve them.
• Report on testing status, issues, and results to IT Project Managers and IT Leadership.
• Test web applications built on the .NET framework for functionality, usability, performance, and security.
• Validate data in BI dashboards and Power BI reports; verify KPI calculations and filters.
• Test data refresh cycles and report delivery processes.
