Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst - M4 to join our team and help deliver high-quality health IT solutions for a wide range of clients. You will design QA strategies, lead defect analyses, and mentor junior staff while collaborating across remote teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and six+ years in quality assurance or MIS, with experience in QA metrics, software testing methods, and quality frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Six or more years of quality assurance, engineering, or MIS experience.
• Experience with quality metrics, defect analysis, and software industry data collection techniques.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, quality frameworks (e.g., SEI/CMM, ISO 9000), and project management methodologies.
• Experience with software test science, test tools, and quality assurance principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains project-specific quality assurance strategies, plans, documentation, and metrics in alignment with standards, policies, and best practices.
• Conducts quality assessments and evaluations to determine process and product compliance; documents findings and escalates unresolved issues as needed.
• Reviews work products, analyzes defects and quality metrics, researches solutions, and implements approved quality improvements.
• Leads and supports quality programs, audits, process improvements, and related training and standard practice updates.
• Provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced quality assurance personnel.
