Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange Holdings, Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to join ICC and support risk analytics through robust testing of risk model algorithms and backend services.

Qualifications

• B.S. in CS/Math or 5–8 years related experience or equivalent.
• 5+ years QA/testing experience on large, transactional systems.
• UNIX/Linux and SQL/Oracle environments experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable with financial mathematics, including basic statistics and calculus.
• Familiar with statistical and stochastic models in pricing of financial derivatives.
• Knowledge of OTC credit derivatives or other interest‑rate/OTC derivatives preferred.
• Strong Java knowledge and object‑oriented technologies.
• Ability to set priorities and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Risk Management, System Analysts, Development and System Operations to meet requirements.
• Design, develop and execute testing of risk model algorithms and backend services.
• Establish and evolve a test strategy that parallels the risk team.
• Build comprehensive test scenarios, develop test data, execute tests and report defects.
• Report activities to management via stand‑up meetings and updates.
• Adhere to standards; contribute to the refinement of department processes.
• Research and recommend technology solutions to improve testing processes.
