Job summary

Transcend Business Solutions seeks a seasoned Quality Assurance Analyst in Tallahassee, onsite. You will develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and lead UAT sessions, ensuring quality software aligned with business needs and legislative changes.

Expect involvement in JAD sessions, design reviews, and documentation, with CJIS certification required within 15 days of start. Strong background in manual and automated testing, REST API validation, and experience with Azure DevOps/TFS is

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field preferred.
Minimum 7 years in Quality Assurance and/or Business Analysis.
Minimum 7 years with Agile software development.
Minimum 7 years of manual testing with validation against business requirements.
Minimum 7 years of automation testing; designing, writing, and executing automation scripts.
Minimum 7 years with Azure DevOps and/or TFS.
Minimum 7 years in meetings discussing business processes.
Minimum 7 years with JAD techniques.
Minimum 7 years with UAT.
Minimum 7 years of designing scalable automated testing frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model).
Minimum 7 years in automation testing with Selenium or similar.
Minimum 7 years generating automation scripts and updating for UI shifts/new features.
Minimum 5 years REST API and Microservices testing with tools like Insomnia or similar.
Proficiency in testing REST APIs with Postman, Insomnia, etc.
Minimum 7 years translating functional specs to technical specs.
Minimum 7 years turning meeting/written info into process models.
Minimum 7 years collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and data needs.
Minimum 7 years creating technical documentation.
Excellent verbal/written communication; ability to present complex material.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure quality software deliveries.
Write test cases/scripts, execute tests, and document results.
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with staff.
Support QA for business processes affected by new needs or legislation.
Participate in JAD sessions, design/development/testing meetings, and technical reviews.
Complete security awareness training and CJIS certification as required.
