Information Gateways Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

The role requires strong manual and automated testing skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members in Agile environments. The candidate will work with senior developers, project managers, product managers, and customers to develop and implement tests, write SQL queries, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or related technical field is required.
• 5+ years of experience conducting testing in IT environments.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders to resolve software issues and identify the scope of testing.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL queries and conduct testing
• Document business requirements as user stories in Jira and perform functional and regression testing
• Understand test processes to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Develop test plans, test cases, and testing procedures for SDLC
• Create and execute manual test scenarios and document findings in Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence
• Utilize accessibility testing tools to meet Section 508 standards
• Stay updated with testing tools, methodologies, and accessibility standards
