PETADATA is seeking a Senior Python Developer with Snowflake to join our data engineering team in Texas. The role requires 12+ years of Python development experience, expertise in Snowflake, SQL, ETL/ELT, data warehousing and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• 12+ years of experience in Python development or data engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills (OOP, multithreading, APIs, data processing).
• Extensive experience with Snowflake Data Cloud."
• Strong SQL, query optimization and DB performance tuning."
• ETL/ELT development and data integration expertise."
• Experience with Data Warehousing, Data Modeling and dimensional modeling."
• Hands-on PySpark and large-scale data processing experience."
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP."
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow, orchestration and scheduling tools."
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing apps using Python and Snowflake.
• Build and optimize enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Design Snowflake data warehouses with efficient schemas and performance tuning.
• Develop reusable Python frameworks, APIs, and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data workflows for performance.
• Integrate data from relational databases, APIs, cloud storage, and third-party apps.
• Implement data quality, governance, security, and compliance practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production data pipeline issues.
• Lead code reviews, establish standards, and mentor juniors.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD pipeline enhancements.
• Work with DevOps to automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve platform efficiency and scalability.
