Job summary

The role focuses on building scalable platform capabilities and reusable services, with emphasis on Python, FastAPI, Kubernetes, Docker, and GCP, plus CI/CD pipelines and robust testing. The candidate will coordinate onsite and offshore teams and deliver production-grade APIs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT/software engineering experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Python Platform Engineer to design and build a containerized API layer that abstracts and governs interactions with Apache Spark/PySpark through well-defined API contracts.

The role focuses on building scalable platform capabilities and reusable services, rather than simply consuming existing data tools. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing production-grade APIs in Python, working with data frameworks and pipeline orchestration systems, and deploying containerized services using Docker/Kubernetes.

The candidate should also have strong GCP experience, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to coordinate onsite and offshore development teams.
