We are seeking an experienced Network Automation Engineer with a focus on Python and automation, with a basic background in AI to enhance network automation capabilities. The role involves developing and enhancing automated network workflows, leveraging AI to drive more intelligent and efficient solutions.

Overview

• Design and implement automated network test and validation workflows using appropriate tooling and programming approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Traffic and Protocol Automation: Design and implement automated traffic test cases using tools like IXIA and Spirent.
• Device automation: Use Python libraries such as netmiko and SSH-based tooling to automate configuration and verification across routers from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Ciena.
• Network Device Expertise: Apply hands-on experience with networking devices and a deep understanding of network protocols to configure and test complex network environments.
• AI Integration: Research and implement AI/ML models to enhance network automation workflows, including tasks such as predictive analysis, anomaly detection, and performance optimization.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Maintain and expand DevOps practices; configure and manage Jenkins pipelines to support CI/CD for network automation projects.
• Advanced Programming: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python; leverage Robot Framework to build scalable test suites.
• Orchestration: Utilize workflow orchestration tools (e.g., n8n) to ensure seamless integration between network devices, testing tools, and data sources.

Required Skillset

• Network Automation: Proven experience with network automation tools and libraries (Netmiko, NAPALM, etc.).
