Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC is seeking an experienced Python Full Stack Engineer in Austin, TX to join the Identity and Access Management team. You will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable applications using Java, Python, Spring Boot, and cloud services.

The role requires leadership in an agile team, mentoring of engineers, and collaboration with product owners to plan features across platforms. Strong REST/SOAP, SQL, and security knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Java 21.
• Expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing Microservices using Spring JDBC, Spring Security, Spring Batch, and Spring Transaction Management.
• Hands-on experience with Python programming and data processing pipelines.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services.
• Good knowledge of JSON, XML, and WSDL.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience with Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS or other Cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of OAuth, authentication, authorization, and application security.

Responsibilities

• Support the Identity and Access Management Identity Services and Capabilities team in the Technology Risk & Information Security organization.
• Participates in the design and development of systems & application programs.
• Functions as Senior member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development practices - tools, common components, and documentation.
• Mentors' engineers, and may have management responsibilities over 2-3 engineers.
• Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies.
• Works closely with product owners on blueprints and annual planning of feature sets that impact multiple platforms and products.
• Works with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues
