Job summary

Leidos Inc is seeking a security-focused Python developer to advance an IoT security solution from lab to customers. The role spans end-user support, feature development, and partner coordination, with location options in Chantilly, VA or Columbia, MD.

Qualified candidates have TS/SCI, 4+ years in Python development, and strong AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC experience. Expect Agile Scrum teamwork and RESTful API exposure in a full-stack environment.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with TS/SCI and counter-intelligence polygraph clearance.
• Four years in a Python development role.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, software or related field.
• Expertise in Python scripting and shell scripting.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad, Docker Swarm).
• Experience delivering solutions on AWS.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Angular UI.
• Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and Agile Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain the deployed application.
• Onboard and manage new users.
• Evaluate and integrate new data sources and technologies.
• Serve as primary contact for data sources and partners.
• Coordinate technical exchanges and data cataloging.
• Understand security restrictions and access requirements.
