CEI is seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend services and cloud infrastructure in a modern AWS environment. The role emphasizes DevOps best practices, reliability, and performance in distributed systems.

The position is based in Orlando with hybrid work expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review code, mentor peers, and contribute to architectural decisions while delivering high-quality software on a 12-month W2 contract.

Formación

• 5+ years of software development experience, including distributed systems.
• Expert-level programming with strong time/space complexity and maintainable design.
• Strong Python development experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable, well-documented software with high performance and reliability.
• Build and enhance cloud infrastructure components and supporting services.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional partners to drive engineering proposals and best practices.
• Define low-level implementation details, including data structures and maintainable patterns.
• Recommend approaches addressing scaling, performance, and architectural evolution.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure high engineering standards.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members.
