Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Python Developer to join an onsite Denver team. The role focuses on transforming requirements into coded solutions, building unit tests, and supporting architecture decisions to deliver robust applications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a large enterprise, strong Django experience, and proficiency with FastAPI, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and modern JS (Angular, ES6/HTML5/CSS3). This is an onsite, full‑time role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Python developer in a large enterprise environment.
• Proficient with Django, Angular, ES6/HTML5/CSS3, and MySQL.
• Experience with Git and unit testing frameworks.
• Familiar with FastAPI and event-based integrations (Kafka / RabbitMQ).
• Experienced in Agile SDLC and proofs-of-concept work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to story refinement and define requirements.
• Perform spike/proof of concept work to mitigate risk.
• Code solutions and unit tests to meet acceptance criteria.
• Design, develop, and modify architecture components and interfaces.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for integration and performance.
• Collaborate to resolve technical complexities while maintaining architecture integrity.
