Job summary

Peregrine Advisors is seeking motivated developers to own and deliver cloud-native solutions in a hybrid role based in the Washington, DC metro area. You’ll lead feature work on AWS, own user stories from refinement to production, and ship serverless workflows using Lambda and Step Functions.

Your first assignment

Your first assignment will likely put you in charge of defining and delivering solutions for modern applications:leading feature work on an AWS cloud-native stack, with ownership of user stories from refinement all the way to production;directing the build of serverless, event-driven application workflows on Lambda and Step Functions;owning how commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products integrate into the larger system frameworks built in-house;designing and shipping the API interconnections modern system architectures rest on; orleading the data and document pipelines that make automatic what used to be manual and paper-heavy.Adaptability and a demonstrated capacity to learn new concepts, systems, and tools are what keep you ahead of program needs as projects complete and priorities shift.The work is real, hard, and it matters.

What you'll need

Sole United States citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust determination are required for this initial engagement. This is a hybrid role based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and it requires commuting into DC regularly. Everything else, the years, the certifications, the specific tools, we ask in the application and get into during the interview.
