Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking an experienced Python Automation Engineer to design and support data integration, reporting, and process automation within a z/OS environment. You will develop data extraction and loading processes, automate workflows, and enable centralized reporting across enterprise platforms.

The role emphasizes Python development, automation scripting, Unix/Linux administration, and CI/CD with Jenkins, ETL, and data integration expertise.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Python development and automation scripting.
6-10 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
Unix/Linux administration experience.
Git version control and source code management.
Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
Experience developing ETL, data integration, and reporting solutions.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts and solutions for infrastructure and operational processes.
Build extract, transform, and load (ETL) scripts to provide data feeds from patch and RSU maintenance databases to a centralized database.
Design and implement processes for extracting data required for centralized reporting and management reviews.
Build and maintain data ingestion processes for vendor data feed reporting.
Develop automated daily reporting and summary generation processes for management and operational teams.
Assist in automating process flows, workflow tracking, and operational activities defined through the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to improve reporting accuracy, process efficiency, and automation capabilities.
