ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and APIs at our St. Louis, MO office. The role provides technical leadership and mentoring to the development team while shaping architectural decisions.

You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, drive project planning, and ensure delivery on time with high quality, security, and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–7 years of professional software development.
• 3+ years Python development in production.
• RESTful APIs and microservices design experience.
• Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Expert in Python 3.x with Django/Flask/FastAPI.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Git-based workflows and CI/CD tooling.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and APIs.
• Provide architectural leadership and mentoring.
• Translate BRD to technical specs and plan roadmaps.
• Ensure security, testing, and code quality standards.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
