Job summary

Quevera is seeking a skilled Python API Developer in the United States to design, build, and scale secure APIs that integrate AI/ML capabilities within AWS cloud environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical applications in an agile setting and ensure robust deployment, security, and monitoring.

The role requires a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance and a strong background in Python (FastAPI/Flask/Django REST), API design, and deploying production

Qualifications

• 14+ years of SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience with Python in FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST
• Experience designing, building, and scaling production APIs
• Hands-on experience deploying, securing, and monitoring applications in AWS
• Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models into production applications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable, secure Python-based APIs
• Integrate AI/ML models and pipelines into mission applications
• Deploy, optimize, and monitor solutions using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch)
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, data, and DevSecOps teams for integration
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code following Quevera practices
• Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement in sprints
