Job summary

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Python/Generative AI Developer to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI models and chat interfaces. You will work across the AI lifecycle from research to production, delivering scalable solutions that empower our teams and clients.

You will collaborate with data scientists and product managers, ensure responsible AI practices, and contribute to secure, reliable platforms that support Citi’s global operations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional software development experience with Python.
• Hands-on with Generative AI models and LLMs.
• Experience with Google AI/ML platforms and SDKs.
• Familiar with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Strong front-end skills with React for interactive UIs.
• Experience implementing chat features with streaming and async ops.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices.
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork.
• Excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI models and applications.
• Integrate Generative AI capabilities into existing systems and build new AI-powered apps.
• Build dynamic, responsive chat interfaces using React with real-time updates.
• Stay current with AI/ML advances and regulatory guidelines.
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Develop robust data pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product managers.
• Ensure responsible and compliant deployment of AI models.
• Write clean, documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and issues.
