Job summary

Conch Technologies Inc. is seeking a Python Developer to build and deploy AI-powered systems onsite in New York and Atlanta. The role covers API integration, microservices, and autonomous agents, with emphasis on scalable backend and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of experience, strong Python/Django/GraphQL skills, and hands-on AWS deployment expertise, with willingness to relocate to the NYC area for market hours.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and integrating agents with enterprise systems, databases, and third-party services.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying autonomous and multi-agent solutions using Google ADK or Agent SDK, tool calling, agent orchestration, workflow design, and context management.
• Strong understanding of Gemini/OpenAI models, prompt design, reasoning patterns, function calling, structured outputs, grounding, and agent evaluation techniques.
• Experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases & embeddings.
• Knowledge of AI observability, evaluation frameworks, security, governance and guardrails.
• 7+ years of professional experience designing and managing complex system applications.
• Proficiency in Django and GraphQL within the Python ecosystem.
• Deep experience deploying and managing high-scale applications within the AWS Cloud.
• Background in SOA, microservices, and event-driven pub-sub frameworks.
• Full-Stack Backend mindset across data pipelines, security, and scalable architecture.
• Strategic collaborator across designers, PMs, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
• NYC metro based; located in NYC area or willing to relocate for NY market hours.

Responsibilities
