Job summary

Deloitte's Cyber team is seeking a Senior Engineering Management Specialist to help clients design and implement Microsoft Purview capabilities that advance data governance, information protection, and regulatory compliance. The role involves working on large-scale transformation across assessment, design, implementation, and ongoing optimization.

A successful candidate will assess client governance environments, lead projects or workstreams, and collaborate with clients to strengthen security

Qualifications

4+ years in technical consulting, solution design for Purview or data governance.
4+ years implementing Purview capabilities: classification, labeling, DLP, eDiscovery, and compliance reporting.
4+ years designing governance/controls across Microsoft environments, including integrations.
Bachelor's or Master's in CS/cybersecurity/IT/business admin.

Responsibilities

Assess client governance and compliance environments; develop Purview recommendations (DLP, eDiscovery, Information Protection).
Design and implement Purview solutions for classification, labeling, retention, governance.
Perform health checks, discovery, and remediation for Purview deployments (audit, privileged access, policy reviews).
Support POC, deployment, integration, and post-implementation activities for Purview and related Microsoft security tech.
Advise on governance strategy, lifecycle management, and operating model improvements to reduce risk.
