Job Description

OMEGA USA is seeking a Senior Public Relations Manager to lead pr & communications efforts for the brand throughout US and the Caribbean. This position is based in Miami, Florida and reports directly to the Communications & Media Director. This is not a hybrid position and will require in-office attendance.

Responsibilties

• Manage PR & Communications function daily activities including press pitching and placements, campaign strategies and press samples management
• Manage, coach and develop 3 direct reports (Public Relations Specialist & 2 PR Coordinators)
• Supervise and host media & talent guests and activities during national and international events
• Work closely with Communications & Media Director to maintain OMEGA’s leadership in the editorial/media luxury world
• Forecast, manage and supervise PR & Communication yearly budget
• Lead, nurture and maintain relationships with stylists for talent placements
• Constant relationship building with editors and influencers, supervising Public Relations team
• Manage the pitching creation process, coming up with ideas and able to react quickly and under pressure to resolve issues
• Create concept of influencer / talent activations
• Recruit and pitch new Content Creators for Brand loyalty development
• Review competitor’s activations and ROI for comparison analysis
• Act as main liaison with HQ PR Team
• Supervise master editorial tracking document, including all press requests, pitching, anticipated editorial, secured editorial and missed opportunities, working and monitoring closely PR agency
• Lead all media & influencers brand building events
• Manage PR & Comms budget with Communications & Media Director
• Manage and approve post-activation and pr reports for press and influencer campaigns

Requirements:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field preferred

Required Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in the Public Relations and/or Communication position
• Desired experience in US Luxury Watches market
• Established public relations experience, preferably in-house for globally recognized and admired brands
• Proven experience managing top-tier press for leading brands
• Excellent communication, organizational and written skills, high attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and think creatively when solving problems, when implementing and revising processes and US market strategies

Technical Skills/Abilities

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to assess, utilize and implement Launchmetrics, DMR, Muck Rack
• English required. Second Language is a plus
