County of Riverside is seeking an experienced Senior Liability Claims Adjuster to join the Risk Management Division in Riverside. Qualifikationen

• Five years of journey-level experience investigating general liability, including litigation experience and managing high exposure and complex files and property claims.
• Knowledge of California Vehicle Code, State and Federal Government Codes, and related liability laws.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and high level summaries.
• License: A valid California Driver's License is required.
• Hybrid telework may be available depending on business needs; some in-person interaction required.

Aufgaben

• Receive, review, accept or deny public liability claims; evaluate medical reports and experts to determine liability and damages; advise settlement or denial of claims.
• Conduct investigations including interviewing witnesses and inspecting accidents or property damage sites; prepare investigative reports.
• Represent the County in small claims actions and coordinate with attorneys to prepare complex cases for litigation.
• Prepare reports of costs and status on active and closed claims; maintain accurate claims records and documentation.
