Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Public Finance Banker (Hybrid) to support origination and execution of municipal finance transactions in New York. The role emphasizes credit analysis, financing structuring, and client engagement with a clear path to senior leadership exposure.

Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years in municipal public finance banking, strong bond math, and NY issuers knowledge. Licensed with Series 7/52/53/24 and Bloomberg proficiency are highly valued; hybrid schedule includes

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2–3+ years in municipal public finance banking
• Strong understanding of municipal finance, bond math, and credit analysis
• Knowledge of NY issuers and credits and credits outside NY market
• Series 7/52/53/24 licenses or equivalent licensing
• Bloomberg experience required
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
• Experience with municipal finance structuring software such as DBC
• Demonstrated career stability and commitment
• Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills

Mansioni

• Support senior bankers in development and execution of municipal finance transactions
• Prepare RFP responses, client presentations, pitch materials, and other transaction-related documentation
• Analyze municipal credits and develop financing structures tailored to issuer needs
• Apply bond math and public finance knowledge to evaluate financing options
• Develop creative financing ideas and contribute recommendations during deal discussions
• Support origination and maintenance of relationships with municipalities, issuers, and other public finance clients
• Utilize Bloomberg, DBC, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other financial tools for analysis and client deliverables
• Collaborate with senior leadership and regional bankers to identify opportunities and drive revenue growth
