Job summary

Advocate Health in Greensboro seeks a full-time Rehabilitation Support staff to assist with patient treatment under licensed therapists, manage supplies, and help maintain accurate patient charts.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient treatment under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, occupational therapist, or assistant.
• Keeps an inventory and distributes departmental supplies.
• Maintains and logs departmental statistics and assists in the maintenance of patient charts.
• Maintains safe and clean treatment areas and inspects all therapeutic equipment monthly.
• Schedules new and return patient appointments, as needed.
• Performs clerical tasks, as needed, to support regulatory and plan of care compliance.
• Includes obtaining Medicare certifications and renewals within required timeframe, maintaining accurate records of no show and cancelled patients, and making follow-up calls to patients.
• Promotes professional growth and provides community education and/or committee representation.
• Performs other position related duties as assigned.
• Provides appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines.
