Harness, an AI Software Delivery Platform company, is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engagement Manager for a fully remote role within the United States. You will bridge Sales, Professional Services, and Delivery, shaping service engagements that maximize value from the Harness platform.
You will lead scoping, proposal development, and pricing discussions, while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and customer outcomes.
This Professional Services Engagement Manager role sits at a high-value intersection of technical credibility and commercial strategy — a combination that commands premium compensation and is increasingly rare. The $165K-$198K base range aligns with senior-level PS or solutions consulting roles at enterprise SaaS companies, though total comp (bonus/commission on services bookings) could push this higher.
Skills you'll develop: Enterprise consultative selling, SOW authoring, DevSecOps platform expertise, cross-functional stakeholder management, and services P&L ownership. These are durable, transferable skills that translate to VP of Professional Services, Solutions Engineering Director, or even GM roles.
Company signals: Harness is a late-stage, well-funded startup ($5.5B valuation, $570M raised) with Goldman Sachs backing — suggesting a credible path toward IPO. With 26 offices in 27 countries and 16 "startups within a startup", growth is real but complexity is high. This is a high-performance culture environment, not a slow-paced enterprise.
For DevOps veterans looking to move from pure engineering into a high-impact commercial role, this is an excellent career pivot opportunity with strong market demand for the skills built here.
Harness is the AI Software Delivery Platform company, led by technologist and entrepreneur Jyoti Bansal (founder of AppDynamics, acquired by Cisco for $3.7B). Harness has raised approximately $570M in funding and is valued at $5.5B, backed by leading investors including Goldman Sachs, Menlo Ventures, IVP, Unusual Ventures, Citi Ventures, and more. As AI accelerates code creation, the real bottleneck has shifted to everything after the code – testing, deployments, application security, reliability, compliance, and cost optimization. Harness brings AI and automation to this "outer loop," helping teams ship software faster while maintaining security and governance throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle.
Powered by Harness AI and the Software Delivery Knowledge Graph, the Harness Platform applies deep context and intelligent automation across the software delivery lifecycle with governance and policy-driven controls embedded throughout the platform.
Over the past year, Harness powered over 185M deployments, 82M builds, 18T flag evaluations, 8M security scans, 9.1B optimized tests, 3T protected API calls, and helped manage $2.8B in cloud spend — enabling customers like United Airlines, Morningstar, and Choice Hotels to accelerate releases by up to 75%, reduce cloud costs by up to 60%, and achieve 10x DevOps efficiency.
With a global team across 26 offices and 27 countries, Harness is shaping the future of AI software delivery — and we're looking for exceptional talent to help us move even faster.
As a Professional Services Engagement Manager, you will play a critical role in helping customers accelerate their software delivery transformation with Harness. Acting as the bridge between Sales, Professional Services, and Delivery teams, you will combine technical expertise, consultative selling, and business acumen to shape services engagements that drive measurable customer outcomes.
You will partner closely with customers to understand their goals, challenges, and operating environments, then design and position service solutions that maximize the value of the Harness platform. From discovery and solution development to proposal creation and engagement planning, you will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of technology, customer success, and commercial strategy — helping organizations modernize software delivery while driving the growth and impact of Harness Professional Services.
Remote within the U.S. Travel expected up to 25%.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
