Job summary

Chicago State University seeks an Associate Provost of Contract Administration and Academic Services to provide senior leadership on faculty affairs, academic personnel policies, and contract administration. Reporting to the Provost, you will collaborate with deans, chairs, and HR to ensure compliance and fairness in labor relations and academic processes.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate and tenured status in your discipline.
• Demonstrated record of academic leadership and administrative experience in higher education.
• Significant experience with faculty affairs, academic personnel processes, and contract administration.
• Knowledge of collective bargaining, labor relations, and grievance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Provost’s designee on faculty affairs, academic personnel policies, and contract administration.
• Represent the Office of the Provost in collective bargaining activities and collaborate with HR and Legal Affairs on labor relations.
• Provide leadership and consultation to deans, chairs, and faculty on appointments, promotions, tenure, and faculty development.
• Lead administration and implementation of faculty policies in line with CBAs and university policies.
• Oversee faculty workload, scheduling, and related academic personnel matters.
• Support strategic initiatives for the Division of Academic Affairs and collaborate with CTRE and other centers.
