Job summary

Elevance Health is recruiting a Senior Provider Network Manager to develop and manage the provider network through contracts, negotiations and relationship management. The role focuses on complex contracts, fee schedule development and serving large providers, with travel as required.

The position is remote in the United States with periodic in-person training and occasional onsite commitments, offering a flexible, autonomous work environment and opportunities to influence managed care outcomes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required with at least 5 years in contracting/provider relations/servicing.
• Experience negotiating contracts and terms for complex provider networks.
• Actuarial model knowledge for fee schedule development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key resource for contracting staff, mentor and train.
• Work independently with high judgment and discretion.
• Collaborate on enterprise projects related to network management.
• Act as communication link between providers and the company.
• Ensure network composition includes diverse provider specialties.
• Conduct complex negotiations and draft documents.
• Prepare financial projections and analyze data.
• Travel to worksites as needed.
