Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of provider services experience required in a managed health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as internal and external liaison for provider networking with physicians, groups, and providers.
• Account manager for assigned groups, gatekeeper for interactions with internal departments.
• Oversee daily administration and operation of provider relationships, including provider databases and education for providers.
• Research and resolve complex problems related to contracts, financial responsibilities, and language interpretation.
• Serve as primary contact between providers and the health plan.
• Provide issue resolution support for provider contracts and data issues.
