Job summary

FlarePort seeks a Staff-level engineer to own distributed integrations across multiple regions. You’ll design resilient adapters, handle auth and telemetry, and partner with product, design, and security to deliver reliable marketplace integrations.

You’ll work in a remote-first team, shipping high‑quality code in TypeScript or Go, with a strong emphasis on fault tolerance, scale, and backward compatibility to support diverse customer fleets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building distributed systems or protocol heavy products.
• Deep experience with TypeScript or Go and a second strongly typed language.
• Designing fault-tolerant services across regions.
• Familiarity with OAuth/OIDC, HMAC signatures, and zero-trust principles.
• Ability to dissect and normalize third‑party API schemas quickly.

Responsibilities

• Translate heterogeneous marketplace schemas into MCP/A2A adapters.
• Build rate limiting, authentication, and telemetry guardrails into every integration.
• Partner with security to threat‑model agent abuse vectors before production.
• Own backwards compatibility for API and protocol changes across customer fleets.
• Ship instrumentation that makes reliability and latency regressions visible.
