Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is searching for a Senior Protection Engineer to design and oversee protective systems for power generation and distribution projects. Located ideally in Orlando, FL, but candidates from several locations including Richmond, VA, are also encouraged to apply. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in protective relaying projects.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in Protective Relaying projects.
• Engineer in Training Certification required.
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineering of protection systems for bulk power systems.
• Lead teams on client projects to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop electrical models for short circuit and arc flash analysis.
