A leading engineering firm is seeking a Senior Protection Engineer who will lead advanced protection and coordination studies for substations and T&D systems. About the job Senior Protection Engineer

Overview:

This role can be based in any office or performed fully remotely, offering the opportunity to work with a top-tier team on high-impact utility and industrial projects involving conventional and renewable energy systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced protection and coordination studies for substations and T&D systems
• Develop protection schemes, calculate relay settings, and support NERC compliance
• Conduct arc flash studies, short circuit analysis, and time-current coordination
• Integrate relay protection with SCADA systems
• Serve as a technical lead on projects and mentor junior engineers
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management
