Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. seeks a Principal Propulsion Test Engineer to lead multi-engineer teams, own test strategy, and drive safety governance for major motor programs.

This onsite role reports to the Director of Propulsion Test & Evaluation within the Propulsion Test & Evaluation group in Pueblo, CO. The position requires DoD test experience, leadership of small teams, and active security clearance or TS/SCI eligibility, with travel up to 15% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering with rocket motor static fire test experience or equivalent.
• Proven technical leadership and supervisory experience in propulsion/test environments.
• Experience across multiple motor classes and test resources management.

Responsibilities

• Direct a team of 3–8 propulsion test engineers across one or more motor programs.
• Own test strategy, resources, and schedule for milestones and qualification events.
• Represent test engineering in IPTs, program reviews, and government briefings.
• Establish and improve facility test procedures, data standards, and safety governance.
• Lead investigations for anomalous test events with rigorous findings.
• Contribute to test facility capability roadmaps and capital planning.
• Support proposal development with technical content and LOE estimates.
• Serve as approving authority for test procedures, safety packages, and post-test reports.
