Job summary

Varda Space Industries is seeking a Senior Propulsion Engineer - Ground Fluids to lead the full lifecycle of ground fluid systems for our spacecraft programs. You will set strategy, write standards, and drive multi-site campaigns across our propulsion team.

You will own architecture, testing, and operations for ground fluids, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with design reviews, launch coordination, and partner discussions to ensure safe, reliable propellant handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years hands-on propulsion fluid systems design, build and test for spacecraft.
• Experience with ground test campaigns and flight campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ground fluids systems: architecture, design, build, test, operations.
• Lead propellant loading campaigns across multiple sites with safety and efficiency.
• Define propellant handling processes to meet flight specifications.
• Drive the ground fluids roadmap and prioritize investments.
• Develop and maintain technical standards and work instructions.
