Job summary

Inversion seeks a Senior Propulsion Development Engineer to design, build, and test liquid and gas propulsion systems for our Arc hypersonic reentry vehicle, with emphasis on ACS thrusters, fluid feed systems, and propulsion components. You will own the mechanical design and analysis of fluid networks, manage fabrication, and author test plans, procedures, and reports.

You will collaborate with structures, avionics, software, and test teams to integrate propulsion hardware and verify performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Typically 5+ years in design, build, and test of propulsion systems.
• Experience with high-pressure fluid components and pneumatic systems.
• CAD experience for mechanical packaging and fluid routing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test propulsion systems for Arc hypersonic vehicle.
• Own mechanical design and analysis of fluid networks.
• Manage fabrication, author test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Lead hot-fire test campaigns and integrate hardware with teams.
