Job description

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Proposal Solution Architect with an active TS/SCI clearance to lead technical solution development for strategic DoD Electronic Warfare (EW), C5ISR, and cyber opportunities.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end solution development process—from customer engagement and opportunity shaping through proposal submission and transition to execution. You will work alongside Business Development, Capture, Engineering, and Proposal teams to create innovative, mission-focused solutions that leverage CACI’s products, technologies, and engineering expertise.

Ideal candidates live in close proximity to CACI’s northern Virginia offices (Sterling/Chantilly/Reston) or Maryland offices (Aberdeen Proving Ground/Annapolis Junction) and have a proven track record of both proposal development and hands‑on technical experience with EW, C5ISR, and cyber capabilities. The position is primarily based in the northern Virginia area with regular onsite presence expected.

What You’ll Get to Do:
  • Lead end‑to‑end technical solution development for strategic capture and proposal efforts focused on EW, C5ISR, and cyber solutions.
  • Develop differentiated solutions across EW, Cyber, Systems Engineering, Mission Engineering, Platform Integration, C5ISR, and related domains.
  • Translate customer requirements (PWS, SOO, CONOPS, etc.) into executable technical architectures, implementation approaches, staffing strategies, and compelling proposal content.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams spanning Business Development, Capture, Engineering, Proposal, Pricing, and Product Management.
  • Evaluate technologies, conduct trade studies, and develop technical discriminators that improve competitive positioning.
  • Support both classified and unclassified proposals while ensuring technical quality, compliance, and consistency.
  • Represent CACI’s EW, C5ISR, and cyber capabilities through customer engagements, technical briefings, white papers, demonstrations, and strategy sessions.
  • Mentor other Solution Architects and contribute to proposal reviews and technical solution assessments.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • 10+ years of solution architecture, systems engineering, or technical leadership experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
  • Demonstrated success leading technical solution development and authoring or leading technical proposal volumes for large Federal capture and proposal efforts ($50M+ TCV preferred).
  • Strong understanding of and experience developing solutions involving EW, C5ISR, and cyber capabilities (including their integration).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into compelling technical solutions and proposal content.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer engagement skills.
  • Preference for candidates living in close proximity to CACI’s northern Virginia offices (Sterling/Chantilly/Reston area) or Maryland offices (Aberdeen Proving Ground/Annapolis Junction) who can maintain regular onsite presence.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Army, USSOCOM, Air Force, Navy, DARPA, DIU, or other defense organizations.
  • Knowledge of RF systems, EMSO, SIGINT, C-UxS, or mission systems integration.
  • Familiarity with MBSE, Agile/DevSecOps, AI/ML, and Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA/SOSA).
  • Experience with GSA FEDSIM/AAS or other major DoD acquisition organizations.
  • Prior hands‑on proposal development experience on EW, C5ISR, or cyber‑related programs.
