Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager in Huntsville, AL to lead the full lifecycle of federal, state, and commercial proposals. The role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and strong communication to coordinate inputs from multiple teams.

The ideal candidate has deep FAR/DFARS knowledge, DoD procurement experience, Shipley proficiency, and exceptional writing/editing abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, English, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10 years of experience in proposal management, preferably within federal contracting or defense.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full proposal lifecycle from capture through submission.
• Develop schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and review plans to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate inputs from technical, management, pricing, and contracts teams.
• Facilitate color team reviews and ensure overall compliance with RFP requirements.
• Write and edit proposal sections, executive summaries, and narratives as needed.
• Collaborate with pricing and contracts teams to align costs with the approach.
• Manage production and submission, ensuring quality and consistency.
