Job summary

Bosch Manufacturing Solutions seeks a highly motivated Proposal Engineer to support the development of special-purpose machinery for the automotive industry. You will lead concept development, manage complex projects, and interface with customers to pursue new business opportunities.

The role requires strong technical writing, cross-functional coordination, and English communication skills in a fast-paced, international team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
7+ years in project engineering roles within special machinery or industrial automation.
Experience in concept development, machine architecture, and system-level engineering.
Strong ability to lead technical discussions and customer-facing presentations.

Responsibilities

Analyze RFPs, RFQs and customer specs to capture technical and contractual needs.
Define solution scope with sales and engineering teams.
Support cost estimation and pricing discussions for proposals.
Write executive summaries, technical descriptions, and scope of work.
Identify risks and mitigation strategies for proposals.
Coordinate with engineering, operations, legal and finance to complete the proposal.
Prepare materials and participate in customer proposal presentations.
