Job summary

Newmark is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support property management and project management agreements for its U.S. operations. You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate documents while advising executives and field teams on risk and business strategy.

The role requires a JD and NY Bar, 5+ years of contract experience, and comfort with AI-enabled legal tools. In-office in Midtown NYC preferred, with hybrid/remote options and a competitive benefits package including 401(k)

Qualifications

• JD and active NY Bar in good standing with at least five years of practice.
• Substantial experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience in appraisal, property management, or project management law is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate agreements for appraisal, property management, and project management.
• Provide legal counsel to managers and real estate professionals.
• Advise on risk balance and strategic business implications; work with executives and outside counsel.
