Job summary

AvonRisk is a leading specialty risk manager handling property and casualty claims across multiple states. The Property Claims Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, and settle complex commercial property and public entity claims, with responsibilities spanning field inspections and desk analysis in Kentucky.

The role requires experience with Xactimate, strong coverage analysis, reserve management, and client reporting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience handling property claims.
• Demonstrated experience handling moderately complex claims.
• Solid knowledge of casualty policies and endorsements.
• 7+ years of experience in property adjusting, preferably commercial property.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and adjust complex commercial property and public entity claims from first notice of loss through final resolution.
• Conduct onsite inspections throughout Kentucky, including roofs, interiors, building systems, and damaged structures.
• Evaluate coverage, determine scope of damages, establish reserves, and prepare detailed claim reports.
• Prepare and review estimates utilizing Xactimate and other estimating platforms.
• Coordinate with insureds, contractors, engineers, mitigation vendors, attorneys, and other experts as needed.
• Manage large-loss and catastrophe-related property claims when assigned.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and pursue recoveries where applicable.
