Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience within property management or real estate.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Yardi required.
• Strong experience with month-end closings and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties and accounts.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of properties.
• Maintain tenant ledgers and process owner distributions in Yardi.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple operating and trust accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process vendor invoices and utility allocations.
• Monitor tenant balances and delinquency activity.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
