Qualifications

• 4–5 years of accounting experience, including 2–3 years in commercial or retail property accounting.
• Strong understanding of property accounting, financial statements, reconciliations, and accrual accounting.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned commercial real estate and development properties.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages for management, investors, and third-party owners.
• Maintain balance sheet and income statement schedules.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of operating, lockbox, and bank accounts.
• Monitor cash balances, tenant receivables, and property activity; calculate property management fees.
• Assist with budgets and variance explanations.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist with year-end audits.
