Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field activities on large commercial projects in the Washington, DC area. You will oversee field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and enforce safety rules to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 10+ years of leadership in construction, and strong scheduling, cost control, and BIM/Procore skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CM, CE, or related field.
• Minimum ten (10) years of commercial construction leadership.
• Training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling.
• Cost control experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Procore, BIM, and Microsoft Project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role as a Foreman or Superintendent
• Successful completion of classes or other training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling
• Cost control experience
• Basic computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word, Procore, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Microsoft Project
