Job summary

Blattner Company is seeking a Project Scheduler to support Operations and Project Management by creating, updating, and analyzing resource-loaded schedules. You will work with Project Managers to keep schedules accurate, aligned with project progress and client contract requirements.

Responsibilities include building initial baseline schedules, performing CPM-compliant planning, and producing critical path and variance reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field or equivalent experience.
• Two+ years in project scheduling or related construction scheduling.
• Gas or heavy industrial scheduling experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain baseline schedules for complex projects in CPM and align with contract requirements.
• Validate schedules with P6 health checks and DCMA metrics.
• Support schedule risk analysis under Senior Scheduler direction.
• Provide timely schedule updates and accompanying look-ahead, variances and critical path reports.

Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• As a Project Scheduler, you'll support Blattner's Operations and Project Management teams by creating, updating, and analyzing resource-loaded project schedules.
• You'll work closely with Project Managers to keep schedules accurate, aligned with project progress, and compliant with Blattner's procedures and client contract requirements.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

• Builds initial baseline schedule for complex projects ensuring compliance with Critical Path Method (CPM) best practices and contract requirements in accordance with Blattner's policy and procedures.
• Utilizes P6 health check to validate schedule against applicable DCMA metrics.
• Supports schedule risk/range analysis under the direction of the Senior Scheduler.
• Provides schedule updates to the project team in a timely manner to ensure all contract deliverable dates are met.
• Including weekly resource levelling.
• Applies predefined schedule change scenarios and documents impacts; escalates variances for mitigation planning by project leadership.
• Develops contractually required reporting as well as supplemental reporting requested by the project team or internal management.
• Including but not limited to look-ahead, variance and critical path reports.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• A bachelor's degree in construction management, Industrial Engineering Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field; or combinations of related education and experience required.
• Two or more years of experience in project scheduling or a combination of experience in construction and scheduling.
• Scheduling for Gas or Heavy Industrial experience is required.
• Ability to Travel up to 25%.

• Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Working knowledge of Risk Analysis software (i.e. -Primavera Risk, Acumen Risk, Risk, Safran, etc.).
• Working knowledge of Analytical Tools (I.e. -Acumen Fuse, Power Bi, Tableau, etc.).

#LI - Remote $100,561.00 - $145,814.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
